Pillow Blocks

SAF & SDAF Series

SAF and SDAF Split Pillow Block Housings are designed for 222 and 223 Series Spherical Roller Bearings or Self Aligning Ball Bearings where higher speeds may be needed. Four standard styles are stocked: 500, 600, 200, and 300 Series. The 500 and 600 series accommodate adapter mounted bearings. Steel ( SAFS) units are also available from stock.

Flange Units

722500 Series
The 722500 Flange Bearing accepts spherical and double row ball bearings and is considered a heavy duty unit. Units with open and closed ends are standard. Smaller sizes are 3-bolt, while the larger use 4-bolt mounting.

DFL Series
The DFL Double Bearing Flange is available in shaft diameters from 20 thru 40mm. These units offer a unique mounting arrangement. For more information request dimension/specification sheets.

Special Purpose Units

PDNF, BLO Series
PDNF and BLO Double Bearing Housings offer unique features for fan drive applications. Housing only or complete units maybe specified.

Bearing Accessories

	Seals LER Triple Labrynth Aluminum Seals are standard on SAF Pillow Blocks. These interchange with other industry brands as well. The LER seal is a one-piece design which slides onto the shaft during installation. Specify LER-xxx, where xxx denotes LER Part No.
	TS Labyrinth Seals are standard on SD 3100 Series. Each includes an O-Ring shaft seal. They are suitable for high speed and high temperature applications. The seal is cast iron and rotates with the shaft. When ordering, specify TS-xxx, where xxx denotes housing size
	Taconite Seals for SAF Series are available from stock when applications demand extra sealing protection. TAC seals install in place of the LER type seal. The addition of a rubber lip seal at the shaft, felt and o-rings make this an exceptional design. Specify TAC-xxx, where xxx denotes TER Part No.
	Seals for SN/ SNF/ SSN Series Plumber Blocks are felt. Optional split double lip radial seals are available as well. Specify F-xxx for Felt Seals where xxx denotes housing size. Specify LD-xxx for Double Lip Seals.
	End Covers Solid End Covers in Metallic and Non-Metallic material are stocked for SAF, SN/ SNS/ SNF, SD, S3000 and SNHF Series Housings. Specify EC-xxx for size.
	Fixing Rings Fixing Rings or Stabilizing Rings are used in the bearing housing to create a fixed bearing in the system. These are stocked in a wide variety of sizes. Specify FR-xx-xxx where xx denotes the width in mm, and xxx denotes the diameter (same as Bearing O.D.). These are normally included with the housing along with standard seals.
	Spanner Wrenches Spanner Wrenches are available for the full range of Adapter Nuts. See cataloge detail in Adapter Section.
	Modifications Other Options can be provided on request. Whether seals, or housing modifications that can include oil drain holes, or thermocouple location etc., send us your requirements.

Bearing Inserts & Adapters

Ball and Spherical Roller Bearings are stock for above Split Pillow and Plummer Blocks in both straight and tapered bores. Adapter Sleeves also stocked as an accessory.
